lost in sensation

Whomever saw Takeshi Kitano’s 1997 movie Hanabi, knows at least one word of Japanese: fireworks. And hanabi is what happens on your plate and in your mouth when you dine at Dinings.

Instead of lost in translation, you’ll be lost in sensation due to the heavenly compositions Dinings cuisine creates. In Holland the expression for all this would be ‘angels peeing on your tongue’, an expression I’m sure would not be very much appreciated by the Japanese chefs, despite its positive meaning.

Anyways, when you manage to get a table at Dinings (reservation can only be made one month in advance max as of the 1st of the month), don’t count on catching up with your friends or family since all you’ll end up talking about is the legendary wagyu beef sushi, the truffle dishes or the Scottish native lobster tar-tar gunkan style sushi with yuzu-jalapeno sauce….
